Ultrasound

Get peace of mind and vital information with a limited ultrasound.

A pregnancy test confirms a potential pregnancy, but it does not provide the whole picture. Ultrasound imaging plays a critical role in understanding what is happening inside the body.

At True Choice Medical Clinics, ultrasounds are offered to eligible patients to confirm the pregnancy and support informed choices that prioritize their health.

What an Ultrasound Can Show

Ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to create a picture of your pregnancy. An ultrasound can help confirm:

  • That the pregnancy is developing
  • How far along the pregnancy is
  • Whether the pregnancy is located in the uterus

At True Choice, ultrasounds are provided by a qualified, trained professional committed to high standards of care. Results are reviewed and confirmed by a physician to ensure accuracy and appropriate medical oversight. You’ll receive clear answers and information you can trust.

Eligibility for Ultrasound Services

We may offer ultrasounds to patients who:

  • Have received a positive pregnancy test at True Choice
  • Are considering their options and are unsure about the next steps
  • Are not already under the care of a prenatal provider

These guidelines help ensure ultrasounds are provided appropriately and in accordance with medical need.

Why This Information Matters

Ultrasound results can identify critical medical concerns, including miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. If you experience the latter condition, which occurs when a fertilized egg implants outside the uterus, you will need immediate treatment to prevent life-threatening complications.

Knowing how far along you are will help you make informed decisions and ask appropriate medical questions moving forward. For example, the abortion pill is FDA-approved only through 10 weeks gestation. Taking abortion drugs after this time is not recommended due to the additional risks it poses.

True Choice Medical Clinics does not perform or refer for abortions, but we believe patients deserve accurate medical information to protect their health and well-being.
