Before discussing pregnancy paths, it’s important to confirm your pregnancy and understand essential details. That’s why options consultations are paired with medical-grade pregnancy testing and, for eligible patients, a limited ultrasound to help confirm the pregnancy.

Learning how far along you are, whether the pregnancy is developing, and its location provides important context for any decision. Your patient advocate will review this information with you and help explain what it means for your health.

Abortion Information

It’s vital that you seek information about abortion. While True Choice Medical Clinics does not perform or refer for abortions, we believe patients deserve honest, accurate medical information. 

During your consultation, we explain abortion methods, the side effects you can expect, and potential physical and emotional risks. It’s essential that you understand what questions to ask and what factors may affect safety.

We provide this information respectfully and without judgment, allowing you to make informed decisions based on facts rather than assumptions.

Adoption as an Option

Adoption is another path some patients explore. Modern adoption looks very different from how it once did, and each plan includes varying levels of communication and involvement. 

During an options consultation, your patient advocate can explain how adoption works today, the choices available, and the support that adoption coordinators can provide.

We can also provide referrals to reputable adoption professionals if you want to learn more. Since we are not a licensed child-placing agency, you receive information without pressure to move forward unless you choose to do so.

Parenting and Educational Support

For patients considering parenting, education can be a powerful form of support. True Choice offers classes through our Next Steps Parenting Program. This program focuses on topics such as pregnancy, newborn care, budgeting, and healthy decision-making.

Men can also receive one-on-one support through our Fatherhood Program with a trained coach, offering guidance as they consider their role and responsibilities. If you’re a guy and interested in additional help, you are welcome to attend our classes.
